Address: 1002/3 Main Street, Varsity Lakes

Contact: (+617) 5580 9152

Hours: Monday–Tuesday, Thursday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Many students and working professionals struggle to find fully equipped living spaces close to campus. Varsity Apartments steps in by offering everything from furnished studios to three-bedroom apartments, and they’re just 700 metres from Bond University.

Every apartment layout comes with secure fob entry, air conditioning, and lockable private bedroom doors for extra privacy.

On top of that, you’ll find great on-site perks, including a swimming pool, fitness room, and even beautiful views of the water or hinterland. Rates are straightforward and start from AU$400 per week for studios, which makes budgeting easier.

However, visitor parking has a strict four-hour limit, and a client recently mentioned management sometimes enforces parking rules pretty aggressively with guest cars.

Pros

  • Furnished layouts from studios to three-bedroom units
  • Located only 700 metres from Bond University
  • On-site pool, gymnasium, and maintained grounds
  • Individual lockable bedroom doors and fob security

Cons

Customer Reviews

I lived in this apartment for an extended period of time

I had been living there for over 2 years, since day one. The manager (Carol) was friendly to me. Following the house rules, I’d never have any problems or arguments with management. On the other hand, they could help me when I needed them. That’s why I lived in this apartment for an extended period of time. I would recommend that anyone consider this apartment. Also, I will stay here on my next visit to the Gold Coast to see if they have a short-stay apartment.

Has been the best I’ve experienced so far

I really enjoyed staying at Varsity on Main during the last few years thanks to how well the complex was run, managed, and maintained. Over the last 20 years, I have lived at several apartment buildings and high-rises, and I can honestly say the communication via emails, notices, and professionalism has been the best I’ve experienced so far. Thanks Adam and Rosie.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to live in Varsity Lakes, to give them a call.

Customer Reviews

Two-bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean

We had a fabulous time staying at the Hilton Elite suites on Orchid Drive. The location could not have been better as it’s right next to Cavill Ave and about a five minute walk to the beach. The two bedroomed apartment was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The whole process of booking this through HRSP was extremely easy, also check-in was so easy. HRSP communicated everything we needed to know and responded to any questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Would love to come back again

We had a great stay. Awesome view of the river. Walking distance to shops and beach. Tram at the door step. Beds comfortable and enjoyed the spa bath. The apartment lacked basics like a bread knife. Otherwise it was great. Would love to come back again.
