Spice Up Your Night: 5 Best Indian Restaurants in Gold Coast

Flavor Authenticity: I checked how well each restaurant uses traditional spices and cooking styles. I focused on places that create rich, balanced flavors instead of dishes that only rely on strong heat.

Menu Variety: I looked at how many choices each restaurant offers for different guests. I gave more attention to places with options for vegetarians, meat lovers, and diners with different preferences.

Value for Money: I compared portion sizes, ingredient quality, and pricing to see which restaurants offer the best overall value. I wanted to highlight spots that deliver a satisfying meal without being too expensive.

Overall Dining Experience: I considered the service, atmosphere, and how comfortable each restaurant feels for guests. I favored places where people can enjoy great food with friendly and welcoming service.

A Gold Coast Indian Food Gem

Absolutely amazing food! We came all the way from Darwin looking for great food in Gold coast and were so glad we found this gem. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The ambiance is lovely -very cozy and welcoming. The food was exceptional, honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had. It’s been a long time since a meal left me this satisfied. I still can’t get over how good it was. If we come back to the Gold Coast, this restaurant will definitely be a must-visit again.

Outstanding Lamb and Friendly Service

Easily the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely incredible. The Burra kebab (tandoori lamb cutlets) are a stand out, I could have eaten about ten of them and nothing else and left very happy. That’s not to detract from the mains, I had the Nawabi lamb, which is the chef’s signature, the meat was so tender it was falling off the fork and the sauce was creamy and delicious. I’ll definitely be back!

Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of authentic flavour. Add to that the great, funky venue in Mermaid, and it makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Perfect Indian food from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back again very soon!

The Best Indian Food in Australia

To qualify I am an expat from America but Indian Flavors of Palm is THE best food I’ve had in Australia since moving here. I go here once a week since discovering it. Might be the best Indian I’ve had anywhere honestly. If you’re missing flavor and spice and finding the options around bland then you GOTTA come here because it’s delicious and so flavorful and they cook their meats to perfection. I accidentally ordered food from the Indian restaurant across the street and it doesn’t come close! Can’t recommend this spot enough!
