Fetch ‘n’ Fun Wellness and Daycare offers more than a place for dogs to play. They also provide wellness therapy with IICT-certified professionals experienced in canine wellbeing.
When I brought my energetic retriever here for a wellness session, the staff’s calm and caring approach gave me peace of mind. Every team member is trained in canine behavior and CPR, so my dog felt safe.
At daycare, dogs enjoy Queensland’s largest indoor playrooms, a huge outdoor splash zone, supervised activities, and free daily photo updates.
Still, the grooming salon is only open to dogs already enrolled in daycare. New grooming clients can’t book this service by itself, so you’ll need daycare first before booking.
Peaches’ Happy Home Away From Home
My dog Peaches has the best time in day care and I know she is being cared for with utmost diligence. She always comes home happy. She gets excited when she knows she’s going and doesn’t want to leave when I come to collect her as she’s made so many friends. Buddies Doggy Daycare helps new dogs feel comfortable by starting every first visit with a dedicated three-hour trial. This gives shy or nervous dogs time to adjust before joining regular daycare sessions.
After talking with a neighbor whose rescue dog started here, I learned how patient and caring the staff was during that first visit. Their calm approach helps dogs settle in with confidence.
Once dogs feel at home, they spend the day in a warm, home-like space where different sizes play together under close supervision. The daily routine mixes active play with quiet rest, helping dogs stay happy and relaxed.
One thing to know is that the daycare follows strict group-care rules to keep everyone safe. Dogs that become aggressive or protective around toys or water bowls may not be the best fit.

Today was our girls Kumu & Alohi’s first day at Buddies Doggy Daycare, and they had the best time. Last-Minute Daycare That Saved the Day
I can’t thank Morgan enough for taking care of my 4month old puppy on such a short notice! I messaged the night before, desperate to find daycare for Teddy then Morgan responded early next morning telling we can drop him off. I was so relieved as Teddy was still a puppy I thought no one would take him. That was Teddy’s first time at daycare and he absolutely loved it! (He was already asleep at 6pm!) Will definitely think of Buddies Doggy Daycare when we come back to Gold Coast. Highly recommend!!!

Suzi Pooch Doggy Daycare & Grooming gives dogs plenty of room to play in a purpose-built daycare with indoor and outdoor free-range areas. Every day includes fun activities like exploring the Secret Garden and enjoying water play zones.
Their team is trained in behavioral grooming, helping nervous dogs feel calmer and build trust during each visit. I liked seeing how gently they worked because it made anxious dogs look much more relaxed.
While dogs spend the day there, they can also join supervised monthly Adventure Days to local beaches and hillsides. There are also sensory enrichment activities and a separate quiet sanctuary that give dogs a chance to play or rest whenever they need it.
One thing to plan for is the booking process. You’ll need to reserve your dog’s spot by phone or through their online booking system before attending.
Enrichment, Updates and Genuine Care
Our frenchie Millie absolutely loves this daycare! The staff are so friendly and my fave part of the day is getting text photo updates and then looking through the mass upload at the end of the day on facebook/instagram. The staff are so hands on and always have new enrichment activities for the dogs. They are super affordable with the peace of mind she is getting the best care away from home. As soon as we get in the car to head home, Millie is snoring her head off 😴

If a dog needs a quieter space or a smaller play group, the staff step in right away to help them feel relaxed. I like how they adjust each dog’s day instead of treating every dog the same.
Dogs enjoy puzzle games and simple training activities that change often, so every visit stays fun and interesting. You can also shop at Bernie’s Pet Barn next door while dropping off or picking up your dog.
Still, every visit must be booked ahead. New dogs also need a required two-hour assessment before joining daycare.
Building Better Manners Through Daycare
My Puppers and I LOVE Bernie’s, it’s so friendly and fun coming there it’s like an extended family and everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful no matter what weird and wonderful questions you have. Vader also goes to day care twice a week and not only comes back exhausted but he comes back with more manners and tricks, it has helped him grow from puppy to doggo and be a very good and sweet boy.
