Pets Juicy made it on our list mainly because of their high-quality grooming services, from simple fresh trims to full-on spa days. Whether you have a puppy or a senior pooch with any coat type, they handle every pet with care.
When we visited them, their friendly and professional staff welcomed us. We personally witnessed how they treated each dog with patience and care as we looked around.
We learned so much during our visit, from the type of pet products they use to the grooming equipment and safety measures. Notably, they only use pH-balanced shampoos and conditioners (not lower than a 5.5 pH level), which work best for coat health.
On top of that, they provide ongoing care by giving personalised tips to maintain your pup’s health inside and out! We were impressed by how knowledgeable their staff were as we listened to some of their advice.
Best of all, they offer premium services for a reasonable price with Afterpay options. However, based on past reviews, booking in advance is recommended, as they don’t entertain walk-ins – especially during busy hours like afternoons or early evenings and during weekends.

Their location is about a 10 to 15-minute drive with plenty of parking spaces. However, if you take public transit, it takes longer – about 30 minutes.
Many clients praised Kasey and her team for their expertise in handling all dog breeds. Whether polite and shy or aggressive and difficult, they can handle it.
They also use cruelty-free products that are all locally produced, like Earthy Hound Organic Shampoo and The Green Pet Coconut Oil Conditioner, to ensure gentle, quality care.
On top of that, their services are reasonably priced, though a 50% deposit is required. Any short-notice rescheduling or cancellations will result in the loss of that amount.
Since they’re a small team, they strictly follow an appointment-only system. If you didn’t set an appointment, you won’t be accommodated.

Animal Magic Pet Grooming has been a trusted name in the pet grooming industry. For over two decades, they’ve been serving cats and dogs of various sizes and breeds.
Their basic dog grooming package includes a wash, blow-dry, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Small pooches get the full experience for only $60, which we find pretty affordable compared to others.
What sets them apart is their cat grooming services. During our visit, we noticed they have a separate room just for cats, perfect for felines that get easily anxious at the sight of dogs.
They also accept express grooming and even offer mobile service for an additional fee for owners who prefer grooming at home. However, they don’t take walk-ins, so be sure to set an appointment before visiting them.

We included Petz With Pizazz mainly because we’re impressed with their basic package – everything you expect, plus a blueberry facial and cuddles!
They cater to all types of dogs – small to extra large and short-haired to curly long hairs. Other value-added services include day care and pet sitting services.
When we inquired about their services, their friendly and professional staff were very transparent, explaining the process, duration, and preparations needed.
We also met Laura, the founder, whose passion for pet care was truly inspiring. Even past and returning clients verify how amazing their services are.
They are also very fond of how they handle aftercare services, which come with a personalised follow-up to check each pet after their grooming service.
However, we found their rate a bit higher than average. Plus, while their salon has a luxurious style, the space may feel a bit limited for larger dogs.

Wandering Paws Boutique stands out to us because they handle both cats and dogs – all without sedation. They use exceptional calming techniques like positive reinforcements, gradual exposure that allows pets to get comfortable with their grooming tools and other treatments.
Other than pet grooming, they also offer dog daycare and puppy preschool services, which we find so adorable! The 8-session training for puppies focuses on positive reinforcements, socialisation, and basic obedience.
For cats, they provide full grooming, nail clipping, and de-shedding with the same patience and no-sedation approach even for aggressive ones.
They use Aloveen shampoo and conditioner, which are best for pets with sensitive skin and fur. While roaming around, we also noticed how tidy their space was, despite handling both cats and dogs.
Their pricing is reasonable, but their location is a drawback. With no mobile services, travel is inconvenient, especially if you’re coming from central Gold Coast.
Driving takes 25 to 30 minutes, and public transport takes 45 minutes to an hour, which we found a little inconvenient when we visited.
