Living near one of the Gold Coast’s water parks means I’m pretty spoiled when it comes to refreshing water. Sadly, what comes out of the kitchen tap doesn’t always feel quite as inviting.
That’s why I started looking into the best water treatment on the Gold Coast for cleaner, better-tasting water at home. It also means fewer plastic bottles cluttering up the fridge and recycling bin.

Highly recommend
Tried other water filter companies; they told me I need to hire a stone mason and a plumber to install the under-the-sink water filter and it would cost me at least $600 plus they are fully booked til 2 weeks later. If you’d rather deal with a local team than a mystery call centre, Pure Water Systems has plenty going for it.
This family-owned Gold Coast business has been around for more than 30 years, with customer support based in Burleigh Heads.
Most of its filtration systems are assembled in Australia, and the range covers everything from everyday filters to reverse osmosis units. Their Hi-Tech Optimiser cartridge is also designed to reduce chlorine and improve the taste of tap water.
I like that they offer in-home servicing across a broad stretch of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. That makes maintenance a bit less fiddly once your system is installed.
The catch is that in-home servicing only applies within nominated areas. Some installations may also require a licensed plumber, which can add another step to the job.

The products are great value for money and they do what they say they will do. I purchased a whole home filtration system with 2 filters for $1075.
