Very hassle-free
From first contact to measure/quote and install, all very hassle-free at a competitive price. A stylish set of windows expertly installed by Paul and Callum. A week after install, the elevated east-facing louvred window faced its first big test – 24 hours of 100km/hr winds and horizontal rain courtesy of TC Alfred. All Glass feels like the sort of handy local team you’d call when a cracked pane turns into a bigger headache. They cover residential and commercial glazing, including replacements, repairs and custom window or door work.
The business has been around since 1979, although it’s been under new management since 2019.
I also like that they install Invisi-Gard security screens, which adds another practical option if you’re upgrading more than just the glass.
Their 24-hour emergency glazing service is a real plus when damage doesn’t politely happen during business hours. That makes them especially useful for unexpected breakages around the Coast.
The downside is that their regular advertised hours are mainly Monday to Thursday. If your job isn’t urgent, that narrower weekday window could make scheduling a little less convenient.

Perfect window installation
We had All Glass replace our kitchen window before our reno. We were so happy with the quality of the product and the ease of install that we had them come back to replace all our windows and install new security screens. Angus, Milly and Rachel were so helpful and answered all of our questions.

I noticed GC Window Repairs because they don’t push replacement as the first answer. If a stubborn roller, lock or track can be fixed, they’ll work on getting it moving properly again.
They handle sliding windows and doors, bifolds, security doors and plenty of fiddly hardware repairs.
I also like that they can step up to full window or door replacement when a patch-up just won’t cut it.
That repair-first approach can be handy if you’re trying to squeeze a bit more life out of older fittings. It feels especially practical when the frame itself is still doing its job.
The downside is their fairly short office hours, with an early finish on weekdays. If you work a standard nine-to-five, arranging a non-urgent visit could take a bit more juggling.

Their aluminium options are designed to be durable and relatively low-maintenance, too.
The catch is that they don’t handle insurance claims directly. You’ll generally pay them first, then submit the paperwork to your insurer yourself.
